Getting Started: Finding An Opponent
Now that you have a thorough understanding of what Warp Pipe is and how to use it, it's time to find an opponent. The Warp Pipe Game Finder serves as an official, yet temporary, solution to finding an opponent until we launch our full featured 0.4 version with chat, instant messaging, buddy list, and opponent match making abilities. When using the Warp Pipe Game Finder, you must already have a pre-existing Warp Pipe Forum member account. If you do not have a Warp Pipe Forum account, please register for one now.
When logging in, you will see three tabs, Buddy List, Preferences, and Edit List. Buddy List
This tab will display your list of contacts you have added while challenging and meeting people in the global contact list on the main page of the Warp Pipe Game Finder. Along with their username, availability, and IM contact info. Preferences
One of the first things you want to do while logging into the Game Finder for the first time is editing your profile and update it with your current Instant Messaging contact information. This will enable others to contact you while you are looking for a game. You will also want to update your available game list which will allow others with the same games to notice your available game library and contact you to request a match. Edit List
Clicking this tab will enable you to manage your buddy list by adding and removing contacts. Tips When Using the Game Finder
