We are ready to start testing our project on the linux platform. Once stable the project will be ported over to windows and Mac osx. Until then, we would like to test and work out any problems in the linux codebase.
Requirements: All linux testers will need the following.
1) An AMD or Intel based linux box running on the same network as your GameCube.
2) GameCube
3) Copy of Kirby Air Ride (JPN)
4) Nintendo GameCube BroadBand adapter
5) BroadBand Connection
6) Instant Messanger of any kind (YIM, AIM, ICQ, or MSN).
It is very important that the GameCube and the linux box reside on the same LAN. For instance, if you have a wireless LAN setup running at 11Mbps and your GameCube is connected via a wireless bridge and your linux box is connected to your router via standard 10/100Mbps ethernet connection; it won't work. Unlike the solution a few Japanese gamers came up with, we do not require you to purchase an extra ethernet adapter for your PC or a cross over cable. You just need to make sure your PC and GameCube are running on the same network.
Meet The Requirements?
Do you meet these requirements and you want to become a tester? Simply fill out our contact page and let us know your Instant Messanger screenname and service, as well as your availability to test.
