Testing Complete, Specification Coming

After 5 days of testing, I am ready to publish my results. Tonight I was able to connect two GameCubes over a LAN and capture the communication between the two GameCubes, thanks to my friend importing Kirby Air Ride.

You can view the video of our complete LAN race by clicking here.

What's next you say? Well, I created a project on sourceforge a few days ago. As soon as I publish my findings, the specification of the protocol Nintendo is using, and a few suggestions about what needs to be done to bridge two LANs together (a simple tunnel will not do), I will be aggressively recruiting developers.

Hello, we are a starting Nintendo Gamecube site in The Netherlands and Belgium, and are just around 2 months online.
(Visit us at: http://npire.nl/)
To promote our site we would like to have an interview with one of the Creators of The Warp Pipe via E-Mail or if possible MSN Messenger. Please send an email to the adress below.(My name)So we could work things out.

I don't think some of you understand the point of the project. The point is not to connect two systems that are in the same room but rather to exploit the Gamecube's LAN option and play with people in different parts of the country. Best example of that right now would be Halo on Xbox. This seems to be the only way the Gamecube will ever go online though albiet not officially.

"This seems to be the only way the Gamecube will ever go online though albiet not officially."

Well I understand what you mean but just to save confusion, this seems to be the only way Gamecube LAN games will ever go online, PSO has been playable online for quite sometime now.
