The Warp Pipe Team is happy to announce the release of Warp Pipe 0.3.5 for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and BSD. This new release serves as step one of a two step architecture re-write / transition towards our feature-rich version 0.4, which will feature instant messaging, in-application game finder, buddy list, and chat functionality -- among other things.
Warp Pipe 0.3.5 features a uniform user experience across all platforms, and serves as a testament to our commitment to multi-platform support -- providing all Nintendo GameCube gamers the ability to bring their GameCubes online with ease no matter what operating system you may have in the house.
Below is a detailed account of what 0.3.5 has to offer:
As we prioritized our transition to 0.4, we were unable to fit in support for Kirby Air Ride for our 0.3.5 release as it is the LAN-enabled GameCube game that carries with it the least demand from our users. Rest assured, as we complete our transition with version 0.4, it will contain full support for Kirby Air Ride.
For all those who have been with us from the beginning, you may wondered why we broke tradition by not releasing on a holiday. We would like to wish you all a happy Labour Day in Melbourne and a happy Commonwealth Day in the United Kingdom.
